March is the time for Grant Professionals Appreciation!

I want to take a moment to thank all the grant managers out there who are working hard to improve their communities, and the world through great grant management!

You work hard to help people and make the world a better place to live in.

You work to protect taxpayer funds from waste, fraud and abuse.

And often you are forgotten heroes in the times of budget cuts, politics and “bad news” headlines.

When I started this company, I had a picture in my mind that I want to share with you on this year’s Grant Professionals Appreciation Day…

Running the Grant Marathon…

I pictured someone getting ready for a marathon race…training hard…sweating day after day and finally the big day comes, much like the day you get your first grant!

They launch though the starting gate…going fast…the adrenaline rushing…running fast and well.

But then comes the killer hill…or the heavy fog…or a pulled muscle…any of the hundred other things that could happen in a marathon.

But on the sidelines there are people ready to help…the water people, the medical team and most of all the sideline cheerleaders.

I pictured each person going through their grant management training with us waving a set of pom-poms and cheering them on.

Each step we take, is to give you the experience and skills you need in your career, but also demonstrate day in and day out that we appreciate your Professionals Appreciation Day! .

You are out on the front lines of grant management.

We want you to know that we see what you are doing to make the world a better place to live it, making a difference in the lives of people who need help.
