Do you believe in New Year’s resolutions Resolutions for 2015?
For 44% of us, making New Year’s resolutions is a part of the holidays.
(Of course turning them into reality is generally a little harder…)
Last year, many of our 2014 New Year’s resolutions went by the wayside when we returned from the holidays to discover the new grant regulations had been released for implementation by Dec. 26, 2014.
Yikes!
So we focused our attention on the biggest change to grant management since cell phones were the size of bricks and Don Johnson starred in Miami Vice!
What about 2015?
Now that we have updated all our materials to fit with the new grant regulations in 2 CFR Part 200, here are our top five resolutions for grant management at MyFedTrainer.com in 2015.
#1 Lose Weight
Starting in January you will see a “slimmed down” version of our website.
We cutting the newly obsolete grant management courses that no longer fit into the new “streamlined” version of grant management regulations.
#2 Get Organized
We will start the New Year with a new, more organized look to our website.
The new site will have clearer navigation, with less clutter and confusion.
Look for the freshly organized “new and improved” website in early January.
#3 Volunteer More
If you joined our free webinars in 2014, you know that we love to help the grant community build their skills and become more prepared to be great grant managers.
In 2015 we have a number of new initiatives that have us increasing our volunteer work with the grant community.
Keep watching for more details soon…
#4 Spend More Time With Family
Ok, we know that there are some CPA’s out there who would like to take grant management training online, but there has been this one little thing holding them back…
And that little thing has three letters called CPE.
Even though we designed our courses to be compliant with the NASBA standards…
And even though 90% of our enrollees are NOT CPA’s…
I am a CPA as well and I understand the importance of this certification.
So…we had just started the process to become a CPE sponsor when the new grant regulations launched.
We admit it.
We were side-tracked during 2014.
So for all you CPA’s wanting to board the CPE train in 2015 and have the convenience of online training with NO travel required, rest assured we are going full steam ahead to get those 3 lovely letters (CPE) added to our programs in 2015.
#5 Try Something New
In 2015 you are going to hear more about something new we are starting called FederalGrantU.
This is a new site we are building for the grant community which will expand our free resources and create a place for grant professionals to share and learn with each other Resolutions for 2015 |.
More to come in 2015…
